The F800 (may 2006) has always been my commuterbike. My hobby-bike was a Honda Paneuropean with EML sidecar. I already sold the Honda (the kids are too big now) That hurts, since I loved using the sidecar on our trips to Engleand and Scotland:-(. I changed jobs and am now commuting by train. So the BMW has to go too. The bike has all options w.o. the computer (heated grips, abs, center stand, alarm, rack). It has done 42000 kilometers. The (big) 40000 km service has been done incl a new belt. All updates have been performed and apart from that at 40000 km the complete clutch has been replaced (that solved the all rattles in neutral) and the front frork outer legs and clutch cover have been replaced (corrosion). This 2006 bike is as quiet as a 2008 version :-). As long as somebody feels like paying more than the trade-in from the Guzzi dealer (which was not much...)......please contact me.

Sad to hear you are selling peterm, when Boos B's bike was stolen I was counting on you to be the first to report on 100.000 km's on a F800. Hope your new job is worth both selling the bike and having to travel by train :D
I also hope your bike finds a new home soon [thumb]

Hi de100kb, the main reason for selling is the fact that my kids have outgrown the sidecar. So I'm selling both bike to buy another great bike in return. Travelling by train is much better. I had to travel from Krommenie to Rijswijk everyday (A9, A5 and A4) and with all traffic jams it is just a matter of time to get an accident. The train is relaxed. I'm NOT happy with the trade in value of the beemer so I now try to sell the bike myself to avoid a dealer making a lot of profit on my expence.
I was considering the 1200GS and that is a GREAT BIKE! But my wife didn't like is so I decided to buy a Guzzi Norge.
