Not a really new owner, had my ST for 6 months now and stumbled onto the site after looking for a few bolt on bits, - love the bike makes the 80 mile commute to work almost a joy (british weather aside)

I've had the cut out issue on mine over the past few weeks and its a relief to find a fix
Keep up the good work fellas :)

Hi Chris and welcome.

Let us know how the cut out issue works out. it's a fixable thing if the dealer gets their finger out.
Lot's of experience here to tap into. You just have to pay back by adding your thoughts and experiences.
And maybe even becoming a supporting member. Brilliant value and cool stickers. Helps us F800 riders see at a glance other members.

Hi ChrisM welcome to the Club. I agree, the F800 is the best way I know to make the trip to work even during winter a bearable thing and the way home a joy.

This is the first week in a long time with temps over 10 degrees C during the ride home in a long time for me.

Riding in these temps I feel like a cow who is released for the first time in the field after a long winter in the stable. So glad I have the throttle control which helps a lot when one does not want to lose the driving license :D

Have fun with the bike and as Pat said please share your experiences with us:)

Hi Chris and welcome from Cumbria.
If you're looking to meet other BMW owners near you, we have meetings arranged at Chipping Village Hall near Longridge, at 1.00 o'clock on the 2nd Sunday of the month for the next 6 months. See you soon???
