Those of you who've though about modifying your foot controls may be interested in this snippet from the Feb. "Care on the Road" (the RoSPA newsletter).

"A legless driver who led police on an 80mph chase has been jailed for dangerous driving. He had illegally rigged his Vauxhall Astra so that the pedals were controlled by broom handles strapped to his wrists...he lost control and ended up in a field."
