Long wait was worth it!!

I took my bike out for a 300km run yesterday morning,and the more I ride this beauty the more I like it.This bike to me is the ultimate all-rounder, from small run-about to a high speed comfortable sports tourer. If it wasn't for F800 RIDERS forum I most probably would have bought something else,but kept my discipline and waited 6 months.
The cutting out and squeeking clutch problem also disappeared.
My wife was on the back and she also said that the bike was very comfortable.My personal feeling, being a ex-VFR800 rider, is that the VFR'S days are numbered,sad but true.Can anybody tell me if the after market higher screen makes a difference or not,and does it still look good on the bike?

Glad you are pleased with your new bike,I think
we are all very happy with them.I am 6 2" & have the
taller screen on my 800s, it does make a difference to
me when I tested the 800s with the standard screen I was
getting wind buffering in the chest(top half),now its up
to the helmet which is alot better:D well for me
