View Full Version : F800 Rider age poll
Does it need any more explanation?
I reply for myself, I'm now 43 years old, I've been riding more or less my whole life. I've had Hondas, Suzukis, Kawasakis, Yamahas, Triumphs, but this is my first BMW ever. Before this, I had:
2006 I had Yamaha FJR 1300 -06
2005 I had Triumph Sprint ST 1050 -05
2004 I had Triumph Sprint ST 955i -04 etc. etc.
So when I told my friends that I bought BMW, they all expected that I bought K1200GT or S.
F800 seems to be seen like "newbie-bike" here...it doesn't bother me at all, since it is so light to handle after heavy Yamaha...Fun-Factor is much higher!!!
I'm still far too young to Harley-Parkinson...and the rest of the brands, no, I'll never buy an italian bike.

Hmm, someone who doesn't play well with others. I will have to keep that in mind when it is my turn to bring birthday cupcakes........
Today I went for an awesome, long ride by myself and pulled up at a local tourist place. The guy next to me with a suzuki 650 was going to start talking to me about my bike until he realized I was wearing a pink and black jacket. I also consider him as not being able to play well with others too......

With the average age of the riders at the mid-forty mark I don't believe there are many Girls or Boys to be found.

It would be an interesting poll to see how many female vs male riding the 800's. I bought an 800 in DePere Wisconsin and I was chatting with my dealer and I have been the only female to buy an 800...also the youngest person to buy an 800.

I'm sure I read once that the word "girl" at one time referred to a small child of either sex.
In which case we all once were.
