For those well past the other age poll.
Lets see how many, and the age groupings, of those more experienced riders out there.
Still being around well past 60 must mean you have something to share with us youngsters. Please pray tell.

I am 61 but don't have much experience I can add. I was a rider when I was in my 20's but hadn't been on a bike until last year when I bought a Suzuki Katana (great deal I couldn't afford to pass up). In December I saw a deal on a 2007 800S demo and traded the Katana in.

Of course now I have enough sense to wear full gear (armored jackets and pants) in addition to a full face helmet (half-face helmet in my 20's). I also took the MSF course and, as they suggested, practiced in a parking lot until I felt really comfortable with swerving, panic braking, etc. I'm not sure that makes me a better rider, but I am probably better equipped for an accident if it happens. I don't think age makes a big difference other than I certainly concentrate on my surroundings and the other traffic more than when I was younger.

Rule 1,Dont expect younger riders to be well prepared for unexpected weather.Rule 2 Dont expect they always know whats best.Rule 3. Now youve pissed them off so grab a cool one and bench race with another ole duffer.Thats my rules and Im sticking to them;)
