Dawn broke on Saturday morning to a slightly drizzly day. Unperturbed 1x F800S and 1x TRX850 flew out thee Euston Road to the Ace Cafe to meet up with 40 other bikes of varying makes for the London Bikers (post) St David’s Day ride out to... Clacton!! [sure]

By the end of Breakfast the heavens had closed to rain and opened to an altogether different phenomenon... SUN!!!!!! Great day only let down by the fact that there was only one F800 present!! I did my best to fly the flag, and got a lot of good feedback on the bike from other riders!! It would be nice to see some more from the forum on the next get togethers!! The only other F800 in the London Bikers group is our very own Dr Z, though he failed to turn up. I have it on good grounds that he is in fact a fair weather biker... [eb]

Thanks to Jay Adair (brill photographer from London Bikers for the photo...)

Secondly, after already mentioning the TRX850... what a striking resemblance there is. Both parallel twins, sameish engine size, half fairing...

Cheeky young whippersnapper! :( As always when fun stuff happens I was stuck at work [bh] Have only just got home from being there since 7am today [ahh] Plus - in case you hadn't noticed my bike's fooked :(

Will hopefully have the bike back in time for the French trip otherwise limbs are gonna be ripped! [}:)]

Now get back to changing your nappy before I put you over my knee young man [lol]

See you soon! [booze]

Wow - I am so impressed by the diversity [thumb]evident from the photos - all shapes, sizes, genders, nationalities - this is one of the reasons why I've started riding again - bikers are special. [WV]

Yep its brill, everything represented from F800 to maxi scooters to Gixxers via GS Dakars!!

Thats what draws me to it! Got a call from the chap in the UK doing the customer service questionaire and one of the questions was along the lines of how important was it to belong... I couldn't help but think that unlike the general trends of todays society, people failing to look out for one another, motorcycling still retains that stong bond of belonging and support despite it often appearing as a very lonesome pursuit.

Long may it continue! [booze]
