Riders in Spain/Spanish Tour

Hi,
Any BMW owners in Spain? I have bought a house near Granada and I am interested in finding the best biking roads in the area.
I also plan to take a two week bike trip to my property (with pool)overlooking the Sierra Nevada starting September 2008 if anyone is interested, I will organise everything Portsmouth - Bilboa ferry, hotel on the way down, tours, sightseeing etc.

I am planning to buy a F800St early next Summer.... I am currently getting into the biker thing quite slowly with a 125 MaxiScooter for whizzing round Madrid while I get my Spanish A license. I´m loving every minute of my time on 2 wheels and I haven´t moved my car for weeks!!

If you need any help with Spanish or stuff like that for your trip I´d be delighted to help. I´ve been living in Madrid for 17 years (I´m from Dublin originally) so I´m bilingual.

Hi Colin, unfortunately I haven't got a F800 nor any BMW... mine is a humble bandit 650 S but do the job for what I need :)

If you need any advice just mention it here and I'll give you as much help as I can, no problem. I've got some friends round Granada area so if you need roads near there to enjoy I can ask.

Anyway, here you are the first one. Not close to granada though... the road from San Pedro de Alcantara (just by Marbella) to Ronda. That's from the south northwards, road A-397 and some 45 kms. Wonderful road very well known by locals, twits of some 140 km/h plus... as amazing as threatening because one side you've got the mountain but on the other you've got the valley... worth it nevertheless.
