Great report!
I'll have to check out and see if there are any groups near PA that would do a tour in our area!
Thanks for sharing!

Hi F800ST Gal, welcome and congratulations.

Lovely ride report, nice you posted it here too [nod] Please keep us posted when you post more ride reports over there so we can enjoy them too (don't have the time to check all BMW forums myself [^] there are a lot of them [err]).

Hope you will feel like many have written here before: it only gets better (by the mile) [bow]

What did she do with her rear fender and what did she use to mount the BMW logo under her plate?

4th photo from the bottom.

Thanks

That ugly thing (fender) is mounted up under the seat behind the license plate and also the lower fender has one screw on the license bracket.

I took out the two middle screws at the top of the fender and the one screw on the license bracket, leaving a empty screw hole. That was the perfect place to attach my BMW emblem... So simple even a girl could do it. [:I]

Welcome F800ST Gal, great pics.

Glad to see yet another Blue ST join the team..is it me or are the ST's starting to take over :)

I notice some of the other bikes had the BMW panniers on. Would be keen to hear what they think of the BMW system, strengh, waterproofness, size etc. The 1200 pannier is slightly larger than the 800's but the same system, wonder if they fit the 800...

Nope the ST has outsold the S from day one. I think there are around twice as many ST's sold as S's.

Hello F800ST Gal.

Hope to meet up with you soon and ride together. I met A this week, on my yellow S at the mid-town RR meeting.

I was also trying to get away to the Utah rally, but the work schedule is getting in the way BAD. Looks like I can't get away after all. Sends my regards to A, and nice to see you here.
