European Rideout? F800 Group Factory Tour?

This is just a post to see if anyone is interested in coming to an 'All Europe' F800 Rideout. We, since being welcomed into the BMW Club fold, have the ability to request a group tour of most BMW factories - Including the motorcycle factory in Berlin, Germany.

If anyone is interested (we won't set a date yet) just post here, and we'll try to arrange something for maybe later this year or early next.

Who knows, I may even attend! :D

Yes Rob I sure would be interested! But later this year would be a problem because that's all planned full already.

I would suggest the week from the 28th of April to the 6th of may 2008 (or somewhere later in that period). My dealer organises trips to the factory in Berlin every year or so, so he could be helpful supplying a route and a good hotel for bikers in the neighbourhood of the factory.

And Rob, if you are really coming this way my dealer will also have a F800 to hire for the trip for you (and maybe by that time it could be a F800GS!!).

Do we have to send our bikes back to the factory to be able to ride them out, or should we just buy new ones?

I really like this idea. Thanks Rob for staying on top of getting us the recognition from Father Bimmer.
