Went riding to the coast yesterday and spent part of the day at Cannon Beach. More later as I'm heading out to do some more. Here's a link that covers the area I was at Friday.http://www.linesthemovie.com/episode1.htm#.htm
There is more links for rides in Oregon on Linesthemovie. I'm gone.......[ride]

sweet switchbacks, must be delightful. Have some similar roads around here. Definitely good for the F800!

PS: In my opinion, the video is good, but it seems more like a Honda advertising than showing the roads you mention. (And I do like Hondas).

Ah, but there is more... check out the rest of the movies. The one with the yellow Ducati in the central area in Oregon is my favorite. There is even a segment at PIR( Portland International Raceway). I've been there numerous times on track days. with My Ducatis and even a new Mercedes C220 back in 95.:D. Originally posted by Pancho

These are a few photos of my ride last Saturday. It was under three hundred miles and all near home. The first shot is me in my new Olympia Phantom suit. The second shot is on Highway 35 on my way to Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood. The next is a shot of the Columbia River on Highway 14 on the Washington side. The last picture is of Mt St Helens... I would write more but, i'm suppose to be doing some remodeling in the house and if my wife finds ou... OUCH! that hurt! No I'm not on the computer, Yes Honey, I'm almost done with the baseboard trim in the hallway...Originally posted by brian

I was up to Crown Point the other evening to get a little ride in and take in the scenery and chat it up with anybody on bikes that happened to come along. While I was with a group on one side of the building, a Spanish speaking club on their R1s pulled up and was doing a club photo shoot. Crown Point and the Old Historic Highway I ride has been the site of countless commercials and photo ops.

The two Jack Russell's are Libby and Maggie Mae. Libby ( on the right) loves to ride in a Backpack with my wife and I. I've taken her along on coast rides dozens of times. We have Doggles for her as she has her head into the wind over my shoulder.

I could not help but, pull up this thread and look at some of the riding I have done on the F800S. Sigh.....
It has been a fun Summer and I'm looking for a great riding season next year.

Nice. I would like to see more pics of that yellow S. I ride to work most days but it is hard to work myself up to go out on a long ride when the rain is blowing horizontally.

My winter mantra.... Weather bad. Beer good.
