I don't understand how to check tire pressure. My tires have a little black piece of plastic on top of valves, and if I try to put air on them nothing happens, if I measure with gauge, reads 0, this mean my tires are flat? Please add pictures of the tire and a gauge!

i'm sorry Pancho, but reading the manual, scanning it, and thinking of checking the pressure is as close as i get to it. i just drop by the bimmer dealer and let them do it, and give the kid $5 for lunch and don't worry about it.

i don't touch tools. they seem to break things when in my hands. my wife inherited her father's good hands with tools, so she would do it if i let her, but not me.

Pancho, you might have to take the valve caps off and then try again

Looking at the Owner's Manual, adjusting the shock damping seems to be quite straightforward.

Except that I can't hear or feel any "clicks" when I turn the adjusting screw. (The preload handwheel has a definite click every half turn.)

Does the manual perhaps mean "rotations" (full turns) instead of clicks for the damping adjustment? Or does my ST have a defective adjustment knob?

I would advise against removing these "caps" yourself, as it may void the warranty if they are removed by other than a BMW trained technician.

Couldn't get the little black plastic pieces off. Had to use a hacksaw. And get this. I no more than got them sawed off and the tire went flat. Musta been bad all along. Warranty will cover I guess.[booze][booze][booze][:o)][:o)]
