The Old Historic Colombia Highway is the site of many car commercials and ads. I've seen write ups on both autos and motorcycles having parts of the road and Vista House in the background. Vista House is a great place to watch the full moon come up over the Gorge.Originally posted by Pancho

holy schnickies! that place is gorgeous... i also need to go to the beach you showed with the great big rocs and shoot them at sunset so i can get some good ricochet going and maybe clip a few people while i am at it...

gosh Mr. Pizza, how many months of the year can one ride in Oregon? Mollie and i are considering relocating within the next 5 years or so... depending on how successful our business endeavor becomes... and if we get to cover more properties up and down the west coast instead of just AZ, UT and NV, we may very well be golden.

Oregon seems to me a beautiful place - even more so than AZ, but i must admit that the deathly cold of winter is not something i want to return to. here, one can easily ride 100% of the year. you can't say that about everyplace, so relocating is going to be a real challenge.

Thanks Dunny! As you can see from the pictures. You can ride from a very green, lush environment to dry high desert all within a sixty mile ride.
