Yesterday took a ride to La Rinconda, with a friend and his R1200GS Adventure. 160km total ride, 6ºC temp, cloudy and windy. One of my typical short trips on Saturday. We always go out on Saturdays on a 150-200km ride with the members of our group Agrupacion Motos del Chapelco. Sometimes we are up to 10, sometimes, like yesterday, only 2.

Nice pic's Pancho! The area there looks a lot like the Grand Junction, Colorado to Utah areas and the Mesa areas toward Durango, Colorado.

So how did the F800 do off-road against the GS ? Looks like a very sandy trail there, beautiful, but sandy.:D

It seems to be sand road, but actually the road is asphalt, at the other side of the guard rail, the sandy place is where to stop and take pictures.
