I had the panniers installed by the dealer. One was very well attached, the other had a slight wobble. I want to share a very simple fix plus as the rubber in the support bracket wears out this may have to be repeated.
If you follow the instructions for adjusting the panniers fit on the support frame the result is OK but they still wobble. It is just difficult to put enough downward pressure on the holding bracket with panniers in place.
There is a simple solution. Remove the panniers, from inside loosen the two adjusting screws just enough so you can move the outside support bracket about 1/8" lower, tighten the screws a bit, try the fit. Repeat till they fit without nearly any movement. Tighten the screws to 8 Nm, this may be important since plastic parts are involved. Pictures are in the panniers manual.
