By programming, do you mean turning the bike alarm system on? How do you activate the alarm?

I mean how to set some functions "on" or "off".

To my alarm system the "automatic activation" its "on". When turn the bike key to "off", after some seconds the alarm is activated automatic.

I found that when adjusting the alarm, pressing a button means press and hold for a second or two. I tried press and release for a frustrating hour before it clicked in to hold the button while the LED flashed to get the alarm to register the change.

Also, make sure you disable the autoarm before you take your bike in for service. The mechanics will almost certainly disable it while working on it and then probably forget to re-arm it afterward (from past experience).

I don't have auto-arm on. I did at one point but found that closing the panniers can sometimes trip the alarm. I do have the alarm set to rising/falling sound rather than just the straight tone.
