For who is interested: a LOT of (links to) pictures can be found at http://f800forum.forumup.nl/viewtopic.php?t=231&start=0&mforum=f800forum and http://f800forum.forumup.nl/viewtopic.php?t=228&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&mforum=f800forum on the last one there are links to movies (made by Robbert) and one can hear a lot of F800's with different slip-ons riding by!

We had a rally great weekend and I rode 1055 km in three days, almost all small roads in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and on the trip home some sweet Autobahn [^]

The fourth meeting is going to be a clinic on adjusting the front and back springs on our F800's by F800SP, our member (and F800 owner) who professionally tunes springs for racing bikes [clap]

The fifth meeting (probably next spring) is going to be an advanced driving course on a track [8D]

de100kb, From your description and from the pictures in the web sites ( nice group of guys as well as bikes) you included it looks like you had a great time! Thank you for sharing your experiences. The fourth meeting on tuning the suspension sounds very interesting indeed........so does the fifth meeting next spring. :D

Somewhere in those pictures--that's the "custom" F800 written up about in Motorcycle Consumer News I believe--the silver one with the custom striping--is that directly from BMW or did the owner do that? It's beautiful!! Great pictures, thanks for posting. Except there's no women riders in there. Is that characteristic of Europe or just by chance with this meeting?

Mike I think you are referring to the F800SE which is sold by all the dealers in the Netherlands and Belgium. I think they buy them sprayed and add things like slip-ons themselves because I've seen them advertised with the standard can, with the Akra can and with the Laser can.

There are few female F800 owners on the Dutch forum, but this was the first meeting without any female participants. Don't think it's characteristic for the whole of Europe.
