I bought a brand new 2012 F800R in February of 2012 which just so happened to coincide with my birthday. Oh happy day. Before that I hadn't ridden a bike for over 10 years. picked up this idea from the K-bike guys.

If you're having issues with jerky bike response at slow speeds, taking out ALL the slack from the throttle may help.

- next to the throttle grip, there's a longish screw thingie, and a securing circular screw washer.
- turn the securing screw washer anti-clockwise (looking towards the center of the bike) until it's out of the way.
- now turn the cable housing (longish screw thingie, don't know what to call it) clockwise so it starts backing...
