So I ride down a hill when the the warning triangle lights up, and stop by the roadside to see 'DWA' on the display.

A quick flip through the manual reveals it's a battery failure in the immobiliser system.

Anyone know if there's a DIY fix or will I have to heap wonga on the dealer?

cheers!

Recently purchased 07 f800st - no experience with BMW heated hand grips, yet left grip feels dramatically less warm than right. Any thoughts on how to fix?

A few installation photos:

We decided to install the panniers with them leaning forward the exact same amount as the hoop of the mounting rack. Generally, you want to install them with a slight lean to the front so water runs off of them.

Hello All, I just completed my frame slider install and I just wanted to share the process with you. This is intended as a supplement to the the install guide that comes with the sliders. The documentation is in my opinion not that great, but they are usable if you pay close attention to the sizing outlined in the parts listing.

First off take off all the fairings:

Courtesy of weetob, who posted this in another thread, to determine the build date of your bike, type the last 7 characters of your VIN into the following link:

Date format is dd/mm/yyy
