Afternoon, general ? for the masses!
Fortunate to have 2 bikes, GTR1400 and me F700GS for commuting, dreaded insurance renewal approaching!
Bennetts - current insurers - added the F700 to the GTR last year - £331 for both, not too bad, but seems an awful lot for a second bike when the GTR can be got sub £130 on it's own!
Getting quotes on the GTR with me 9+ years NCB and the F700 with 0 years can work out cheaper!
Anyone out there found a company that will "mirror" NCB?
Just wondering if that would be the cheaper route to go instead of the usual multi-bike policies?
Searching around seems like Hastings used to do mirroring, but hopeless trying to an answer calling them!
Thought or experience welcomed!

Peter James is highly recommended by people I know, not to be confused with another company with a similar name.
Also Lynbrook is a specialist motorcycle insurance broker again with a good reputation.
If you run a car as well as your bikes Carole Nash has a 6 Wheel policy, I've been with them for many years.
Hope this helps.

Just received my notification of the annual renewal price from CN.
The Insurance Premium Tax increased to 12% from 10% from June 2017 which increased the amount payable. Also new legislation regarding injury compensation adds quite a bit more to all premiums.

After a short telephone conversation with a CN advisor they offered a hefty reduction in their brokers fee which I was happy to accept.

Thanks foe feedback, went with Liverpool Victoria in the end, still a multi bike policy, £232 for my 700GS and GTR1400, and they are will allow temporary addition of other riders, handy when sons' car is off the road! Well happy.[ride]
Didn't realise that previous insurer, Bennetts, are now part of the SAGA group! Annoys me even more as over 50 and the price went up since last year considerably! [:0]
