    All the more reason to never open the head again after the 36K inspection. Too scary. From what I was gived to understand by BMW mechanics, the valves don't change much after the initial bedding.
    A buddy went well over 100K miles on a K100 engine pulling a sidecar and never looked at the valves.
    Excellent show and tell though.

    I've had a couple of valves change by 1 thou in 40,000 km (still well within spec)
    Graphitane F800ST 04/2007. ABS, OEM panniers and topcase, trip computer, clear indicators, K&N filter, SW-Motech frame sliders and R&G Racing front axle sliders, GS-911, coolant level indicator light, IN-Sound Window - and lovin' it!
