This is for 2010 but I want to ride my 800GS to one of the mentioned locations in 2010.
First time frame would depend on which is chosen.
It will be at a minimum a 2 week adventure.
Next this is an invitation for anyone who would be interested in going .
I haven't decided to camp or Hotel it but am open to suggestions .
I would perfer some riding copanions on this one.
Typically I do solo but this ride will be different.

I bought this bike with these two locations / rides in mind.
Any thoughts or interest ?
Alaska time frame August good or bad ?
Baja April good or bad ?
Thanks
Billy

Hey Billy,

Either idea sounds like an amazing adventure, and I sincerely hope we get to read about your adventures (and see lots of photos).

Since seeing Alaska is one of my dreams, and in particular Denali National Park, that would probably get my vote - not that it counts for a lot, as I'm far away from knowing anything about either trip.

However, I'd urge you to check out ChiTown's fantastic thread on his travels. He's in Baja now (I think), so you might be able to get some tips or get in touch with him for any advice you might need. He has a thread on here somewhere, but check this one out for a brilliant frequently-updated 'blog' of his trip:
