I had an issue with the heated grips not feeling warm enough when I first got my 2012 F8R. There was a recall on the button electronics, and had my local dealer replace it. The moment I went out the...
I've got the Evo Engage. Just depends on how much stuff you want to put in there. When I got it, I didn't have a high windscreen, so I didn't want it in the way. If you tour a lot, get a bigger one.
I could be wrong, but is that not where the panel attaches? I'll have to check on mine in the morning.
As soon as it hits 60, I'll go test it out!
So I really wanted a windscreen extender, and I didn't feel like spending the 150ish dollars for the Xcreen, I saw this on amazon, they had a few sizes/colors. Came in about 2 weeks later from China....
I got a bags connection with a hookup to the battery for charging. Love it. And they have mounts for most BMWs so if I get another bike I can transfer it between bikes
Not a fix reply, but I had an issue with normal bulb from BMW burning through the reflector after 25k miles. I replaced the whole light assembly with the atoplite LED.
I don't know yet, I got them mostly for the way they hug the engine, my brother received them in europe, and he says they look great, I won't get them here in the states, until I go get them myself. ...
Bimmer stuff is pricy!
I think overall I'm at like $4-$5,000, including the cases which if I remember I spent like $2,000 or something
Here's a list of most things on my f800r
LED Turn Signals
Givi WP402 30L Waterproof Roll Bag
I've found that some stuff is either not available in the US or is twice the price.
What are you looking for?
So I just ordered one from the UK with shipping to Eastern Europe, 170 GPB, comes out to 220 dollars, with free shipping. Will be picking it up when I visit my brother, or he comes to the states. ...
Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on them, only one left, might bite the bullet and get them.
My brother lives in Europe, and I can get them shipped there and then next time I go just pick them up. I...
How did you get it for that cheap? I've only seen it as low as $330
Also welds look pretty nice, can you comment?
Absolutely Agree - the bad reputation stuck
Have a Skully Helmet in Large, received it about 2-3 weeks ago, Fits well but too tight, and I've tried the XL which was too loose for me, I wore it once to try it out, in 60 degree New England...
I'm looking for anyone with either an 04-10 F800S, 04-12 F800ST, or 05-14 F800R, in Tasmania
I've been in contact with PivotPegz which makes some really nice footpegs for BMW bikes,...
I'm slow, totally didn't think to search it.
Appreciate the reply
Will they fit?
The parts seems the same, but I couldn't get a simple answer from Google.
Anyone tried it?
That's impressive, must be daily driver, in 8-9 years to get that many km on it. I'm at 34000 on my 2012, but I get about 8k per year.
I haven't usually noticed an issue with vibrations, yes, usually happens around 4500-5500 RPM, but I've been using a Throttle assist and for the past couple of years throttle lock, and haven't...
I've dropped my bike a few times, and honestly the only things I've hit was the handlebars and rear foot pegs, never the plastics, I did slide it one time giving it too much gas out of a parking lot...
Hmm, did it have red and blue vinyls on it? haha
Doubt it was me, I couldn't find any evidence of me being around there unless I rode around with a friend.
I've seen the Chinese lowers on ebay/aliexpress, but I'm worried about buying them. The welds in photos always look crummy. It is however the same design that Wunderlich has....
What's your seat?
also great looking bike!
