In the UK? I guess you've bough a bike before so you know that service history, title and HPI clear are the first things to check?

I suffer from tinnitus as well. I've found that if I dont use earplugs then the tinnitus gets worse while and after riding my bike. I use the silicone plug type earplugs and can still hear...

With all these tyre plugging kits - treat them as a get you home, complete the journey or finish the tour fix.
Then, as soon as is practical, get the tyre dismounted and checked for internal damage....

Turn the unit on without a battery connected, the botom 2 LEDs flash periodically in canbus mode.
Leave it in canbus mode even when directly connected - it still does its job just...

One has to be a bit more careful than that with "salvage title" in the uk. The fact that its clear now (in uk) dosn't mean it'll stay clear.
