Seriously, I was thinking of sewing some insulation material into the inside of the upper leg of my summer jeans for hot days. The stuff they put in oven gloves and teapot cosies. I'll let you know...
There is a little movement in mine but not excessive.
I guess it's virtually impossible to compare online.
Always a tough one. On a car I'd say run with it. There's a lot more at stake if you have a high speed blow out on a bike. Despite the annoying cost when you've already spent good money on a new tyre...
In chilly spring/autumn weather I wear one of these under my leather jacket and over thin base layers. It's windproof and though it's wafer-thin, it works wonders. Even the best base-layers, if they...
I have a Nippy Norman's fuzeblock in that space. Just sat on a thin rubber mat, not fixed.
Nice-looking bike. Dodgy-looking Italian/Dutch bloke.
I ride a Kawasaki as well as an F8GT. The Bimmer build quality is superior. However, the Kawa has been rock solid reliable for nearly 50K...
Good question. I'll try to remember to make a note next time it gets near empty.
I've had 42 miles on the 'count up' from empty!
Well. Good clean Yorkshire air anyway. Not so sure about the stuff on the other side of them hills.
Had a go today. 2019 GT. Constant 30 mph in 1st gear @ 4.5K revs and constant 30 mph in second gear at 3K revs. There was no noticeable surging in either Dynamic or Road modes. It felt just as smooth...
J'espère que vous apprécierez votre nouvelle moto.
Paint might work as DJ says.
I would give it a good clean up with WD40 and some wire wool and then a thin coat of grease before reassembly. It'll come off more easily next time.
Could it not just be the increased sensitivity to the slightest movement of the throttle in D mode?
I find fuelling at slow speeds to be a bit lumpy in road mode even with fly-by-wire. I also find...
I find it hard to get N on mine. It goes in easily from first if I snick it in just before the bike has come to a standstill.
Yep, same for my 2019 model. Only the clock was affected.
Direct to the battery if that suits you.
I would highly recommend a Fuzeblock in the future if you can afford it. Excellent piece of...
Nice looking bike. Good luck with the sale [thumb]
Underbody exhaust usually has the cat built into the can rather than separate to save space.
Nice area for biking.
I'm up for a meet from April onwards highest or lowest parts of Yorkshire [lol]
If the key is not pushed right in it can bend the plastic prongs. Keep it pushed well in. By hand is fine. Easier to count turns with a tool.
Hey I'm just outside Skipton too. Where are you? You might want to PM me...
Welcome new guy Gottfrid.
Sweden. Now there's a place I've not yet visited. It's on my list.
I hope you enjoy the bike and get value out of the forum.
Welcome Superwhite and I hope you have trouble-free riding.
Forums are necessarily given over largely to problems with which owners need help. I think that can give a skewed impression. Most bikes...
