Firstly carry out a "sniff test" to check for combustion gasses in the coolant. A litmus paper check is also available. This will indicate wether the head gasket has failed pressurising the system

Agreed , as the slip was likely caused by lack of grip rather than too much power its unlikely to intervene.
Same with ABS, the wheel might have been slipping but likely it was still rotating...
