Sounds good to me, ordered some and will report back :)
-
Lovely - just what I need whilst locked down again in the UK - something to look forward to :)
Thanks for posting

Interesting to know the mileage, not heard of a clutch having to be replaced on a GT before

Looking good; there are a few F800GT's in the Western Section of the BMW Club, worth joining especially if you enjoy riding and camping :)

I've not been to Micky's do in Dent, but want to try this year (Simon's UKGSER reference), I'm also meant to be going to the French Alps in June with some chums, which was cancelled from this year....

I took my bike in for it's service on Saturday, poured with rain for the 10 miles there, hated it, but mostly I think as I've ridden so little this year and none in the wet that my confidence was...

Welcome, I've not long moved from North Somerset (Weston), now near West Bay. Enjoy the GT, what tyres did you opt for? New tyres always make a big difference, looking forward to getting mine...

Anyone else seen this, in Bike magazine best used buys (December 2020). What on earth are they on about regarding having the ABS serviced every 2 years, never come across that before, unless they...

Build a camping rack; I've done this with my GS's, but not the GT yet. Just a sheet of alloy (or stainless), cut to size, usually @ 2' across with cut outs for straps

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting abroad this year, braver than me! You're observations about the GT are much as mine. Not tucked mine away for the winter as it's quite mild down here in...

Now there's an offer... Chris, mine needs updating, might have to book a flight from the UK and do a trip across the states, which on my list of things to do :)

Two thoughts occur to me here:
1 - If anyone has not actively counter steered their bike and want to give it a go, GO GENTLE (in the words of Robbie Williams), first time I tried this many years...

Always reset the trip for fuel, I expect as with most here it's a consequence of our age, when you *knew* when to expect to have to flick from main to reserve on the fuel tap... good old gravity fed...

I have tried the screen in various positions, those that seem to work best, as you've pointed out, are where the MRA is parallel with the OEM screen. I think it works best as you have positioned...

oops, sorry been away. Yes Chris, that's the bag I have. Though as has already been pointed out Kappa use the same and is cheaper, there is a nice bag, like this one they do, but without the daft...

Interesting, I have the same screen set up, though clear screen (wonder if that makes a difference :)). Mine still creates a lot of noise. Anyway, I’ve not tried mine at the same angle, think I’ll...

Sounds like a plan. I’m sure I’ve seen a post on here some time ago on this - it worked. Gives so many more options for tankbag too. Having said that why not just replace with the same? I have the...

Thanks for that, not thought of looking at Motorworks

I was able to sell my K1100LT easily, though through eBay auction some years ago with 147,000 miles on it... not all mine :)
-
Any one have some spare? Selling your bike, so no longer need them?
Cannot find them new in the UK any more
Thanks

Thanks for the link, just had a look as I'm pondering on the high, 840mm seat, their website shows that as 2015 onwards. I wasn't aware the seats were date specific, anyone know what the differences...

I got mine here if it helps, and it arrived:

An 850cc blue mini, bought with proceeds from the sale of my Moto Guzzi V50... mother told me I'd never meet a nice girl if I kept riding motorcycles..
Photo not mine, but same vintage :)
