i'm interested if it doesn't work out with trig -
i'm not a fan of tossing usable things either - any input on the advantage of this over the stock center stand on my GT ? don't folks buy these when they don't have a cs ?
tough call for sure - i was lucky in that i got what i think may be the only the only GT in my area for what seems to be a steal - and i wasn't even looking for it !
looks good - i'm a slip-on fan primarily for the weight reduction - plus the cool factor
" 14k mile bike is across the country, but is pristine and pretty."
based on the info, this -
nope, mine doesn't - but then it just turned 4k miles on tuesday - mileage, or lack of it, may contribute -
uhhhhhhh ..........sounds good -
welcome dencof - how bout those tires ? did you toss them in the trash bin yet ? Ok, recycle them properly ?
hey Angus - welcome ! i'm sure you will love your GT as much as i do mine -
welcome back - hope you and the GT are more meshable - i know i am with mine -
update # wutever ! last one, i promise - rode again today, about 70 miles worth - all is good - the really interesting positive, is how little i moved the bar, but how much it improved things -...

Dave - i did move something besides the bar but it was 4 am when i did it so i don't recall exactly what it was - but it worked, whatever i did (or didn't) do - thanks for the tips !
being relatively short on intelligence, all i can say is, if you were looking at the bar from the end, as it's rotated in the clamps, the grip will move in an arc - at one point it will be closest to...
quick update - i spun the bars up, down, around, and so forth a couple weeks ago, net result being the grips are closer to the ground - finally had the time and no-hurricane force wind weather, to...
i find if i move my fat fingers out of the way and bring the lever all the way to the grip, the big N finds home much easier -
371801 hmmm, had time to play around a bit - and then saw this ! that's what i'm talkin about Thumpin !
unlike many GT owners, i want less rise, not more - maybe it's my ape length arms - or maybe years of riding with my chest on the tank - who knows ?????
just wondering if anyone has pivoted the...
