    I love Victoria.
Wed afternoon was 37.5C (approx 100F) and storms
Fri morning(today) is 17C (62F) with an expected max of 21C, with a 90% possibility of rain and storms.

Hey send no snow thoughts as I head out for my 2015 x country winter excursion next week. Heading south from BC across the southern USA to Florida and hopefully make it to NY. Then fly back to BC. I'm moving back to the east coast USA. Warm and no snow lol

Unseasonably warm. 62° F and sunny. Just back from a bicycle ride, washed the Tundra in the driveway, and rode the GS for errands. More of the same for the next few days. Feels like spring although I know the snow and cold will soon return. Take it while I can. Leslie, hoping the weather holds for you. Keep us posted.

sunny day, 7° C, but the path of my home is too muddy, better leave the bike at home and go by the car. I could go with my dogs to cefalù to run (they run, I watch them ) on the shore... if it's not a swamp.

It is the middle of winter and the middle of our rainy season in Northern California. We had 0 inches of rain in January in Alameda. California has started to build desalinization plants for water. The first one is in Southern California. I believe 15 are currently planned. Another interesting piece of information, the Colorado River that created the Grand Canyon does not flow to an ocean. It used too. 7 states are taking water out of it. It is 72 F in Alameda as I type, another mild mid winter day.

A few years ago, they built a multi-billion dollar desalination plant here, after ten years of drought.
Our water supplies had gotten down below 30%.
Just after they finished the plant, it started to rain, and our supplies are now around 80%.
So even though we haven't used the plant, we have to pay for it on our water bills.
But I suppose it's insurance for the future ...

In '89 I married a girl from Antigua (leeward islands), went there in '94 when we were still married. Very few have running water from a tap, most of the water comes from desalination, at that time 90% of their GDP was spent on diesel fuel to run those plants. Most people got their water from 'the town pipe' a tap on the side of the road, which were shut off when the limit for that 'pipe' was reached. As the island is only eight by eleven miles with no permanent rivers or streams they have no choice considering the tourists want hot and cold running servants....

cold, clouds and sometimes rains, today I must go to palermo, where every time that rains the traffic becomes impossible.

Crazy weather for a central Oregon winter. It has been more like Portland than Bend. Cloudy, high humdity and rain instead of snow. While it has been great weather for running the trails and commuting to work on my bicycle, it really sucks for the snow pack that we depend on in May through October. Not to mention that the ski season is really bad. Oh well, take it as it comes and temps should be in the high 40's to mid-50's for the next week.
