As the ST mirror extenders will not fit the GT, does anyone know if anyone makes ones that will?

Hornig makes them for the GT and I think they are the only ones at the moment. Rob (f800depot) has them on offer for $70 so they aren't cheap!

The 800GT authority bike comes with mirror extenders and brackets to mount lights. VERY EXPENSIVE, but available from BMW. Dealer will need to contact BMWNA to gain approval to order. They are less expensive than the Hornig offering.

I have the Hornig ones from f800depot as de100kb mentioned, they fit perfectly

It might just be me, but I have found the GT mirrors to be better than the ST's even with extenders fitted.

Check out the f800Depot link shown on the welcome screen here. I have them installed and they make a big difference for rear visibility. They were on sale for $70. Quick delivery too.

Hi All,
Wanted to share this for the UK riders mainly - I know this is an old thread,
I was outraged at the cost of the SW-Motech extensions and I also didn't know if I'd like them been extended 40mm either.
Decided to take matters into my own hands and design my own that fitted better and were to my liking.
I prefer 25mm extensions as I find its a good balance between looks and functionality - however 40mm gives priority on functionality.
Hope admin are ok with me sharing this, as its no means a commercial post just me sharing my enthusiasm and trying to share something quality without the huge price tag.
If you want to take a look my eBay account is "Tris1993" (same as on here) you should be able to find them easy enough on UK eBay by searching for them:
Mirror Extension / Extender for BMW F 800 GT 2013>Onwards - OEM Fitment
Or by searching for my username and then looking for my items for sale.
Hope this helps somebody who doesn't want to pay £50+ for them

Nice work. I purchased the police spec mirror extenders off BMW when I bought my bike, but they were about GBP90. Might have even been 90+VAT. They are metal, but these look a lot more wallet friendly even if plastic.

Wanted to let you all know that I got a set of the extenders from Tris1993 and they work great. I used the 25mm version which was just enough to increase the view but didn't make the mirrors stick out too much.

Another vote for Tris1993's mirror extenders. I went for the 40mm ones, they work great

Received my 40mm extenders today. Picking up the bike on Monday, so they'll be fitted then.
