I totally agree, I'd have crashed while looking to see what gear I'm in!

sowwy, you must be a Dave of a certain age that does things like looking at the dial or digit read outs. I am sure however, if you see the film they have made (no doubt you have) then you would see you actually do not need to look down at all, for it is constantly there low to the left or right just in vision. Should you do the life saver action and turn your head around to see as much as you can before moving out the details are still with you. Also if ones eyesight is not as good to see the instruments but good at seeing further ahead, this would/could be a answer for that situation.

However, being from near central London (where one has to be very flooky to survive nowadays), to being out in the real country side I appreciate the time I have to inspect and monitor the instrumentation I have and to wonderingly think about other things in life. I suspect similar to living in Wales, where the countryside is beautiful, the roads are nice and twisty and those darn seep are near everywhere.

Still better to have an Englishman living in Wales than an Englishman living in Ireland, I will mention no names, point to know one, protect the innocent wont I Oxy oops

    Enjoy your day everyone

Ahem... If I may quote a very knowledgeable gent on this subject:

"I think the idea is a sound one but it needs to be made smaller, as it looks like it does foul on the helmet visor on some helmets, also the area where we view out of the helmets vary in size top/bottom LHS/RHS. My one the BMW system6 evo has a narrow top/bottom and side to side could do with being that bit wider as when I look to either side I see the curve of the helmet, so the HUD would unfortunately restrict my vision".

I think I'd sooner glance down - than be hit by a Routemaster double decker, Flookey

As for the SEEP?, I wondered what kept getting stuck in the spokes. Thanks for the heads-up.

Quote:- "As for the SEEP?, I wondered what kept getting stuck in the spokes. Thanks for the heads-up" Where has that come from...

Dave I was not aware that Routmasters were in Wales, they are certainly not around where I live. And I most certainly would not be doing above the speed limit around area's that have speed restrictions, as I am sure neither would you. It would be sheer lunacy to do so would it not?

And thank you for saying Flook is a knowledgeable person, I do not not recognise Flook being that way I am sure, but thanks anyway

I did get it, my offence - you didn't take it, so I said I don't have fences......................... only hedges! I thought it was our obtuse sense of humour.
