That setup should stop nicely. One-finger braking on my S1000, and glad I have ABS for those moments (when) I grab too much front brake.

I could not get the brakes to bleed having filled up the calipers and 3 pipes that I had empty.
I did the normal bleeding but the levers still came all the way back to the bars .
I left the lever tied back to the bar overnight but still able to pull the lever all the way back to the bars ?
Tried again last night but left bike on side stand instead of upright on padock stand .
When I released the lever this morning I flicked the lever several times and hey presto out bubbled the air .
    Brakes working .
Took the first test ride over to Lind Motorrad in Welwyn Garden City to show the guys who have done so much to help me with my project.
The handling and braking are so much better but most of all the look is bang up to date .
Also big thanks to James Sherlock BMW South Moulton Devon and Motorworks BMW Yorkshire.

Good on you John. Truly one of a kind. I dig it. Any plans for the rear suspension?

The BMW maintenance manual recommends placing the bike with the steering to the left so the master cylinder is at highest, then short-pulling the lever to expel bubble. In the case of a full drain/fill, leaving it stand overnight n this position would allow time for any fine bubbles to make their way to the top.

The result looks great, John - hope it serves you well!

I will add a sat nav bracket for my Garmin on the handle bar clamp .
These F800R bars make the bike so much more comfy.

I Rode to the National Motorcycle museum today .
The new set up is so much better than the standard.
Brakes are fantastic as is the handling with new forks .
When using the heated grips they expand and rub on the bar end weight .
Unwilling move the brake lever over a bit to cure the problem .
I have also ordered the F800r brake pipe from the master cylinder as it is longer and will go under the bottom yoke rather than over it as the F800s one does .
I have also got a new F800r clutch cable to fit .

Re bar end, remove, and insert washer between bar and bar to resolve the clearance with the grip. Worked on my S.
