Has anyone tried this? I have a 2016 700GS, which Denali says their CanSmart will fit.

However, for the life of me I can not find the DWA pigtail (which my bike does not have) to plug the Denali unit into.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

It will be under the seat at the very back and the connector will probably have a terminating resistor plugged into it.

I have the bike stripped down to the gas tank, and still can not find anything. Any pictures would be invaluable.

    Thanks.

I don't use a Denali can smart but it's the same as the Hex EZCan. When I took the EZCan off my 2014 R 1200 GS watercooled, I was told I could not use it on my new F750GS. The R1200GSLC EZCan connects in line with the tire pressure monitor sensor and the one for the F750GS connects to the empty security alarm connector.. These are two physically different types of connectors. when I looked under the seat of the F750GS I realized it had the same tire pressure monitor that the R1200 had. So I connected the old R1200GS EZCan into the F750GS tire pressure sensor and guess what? Everything works fine! I save myself almost 200 bucks!

I'm using the EZCan to control two independent driving lights, an extra horn, and an extra rear brake light.

OK, spoke to someone at Denali (Keith) who asked me to send him pictures of my bike.

RoadRouge, I have the same issue. No pigtail, but a Schrader box that fits the CanSmart connectors. So, now the issue is running wires all over the place. That will be fun. (Actually, I enjoy that. Poorly run wires that aren't neatly bundled and secured are an affront to humanity.)

Thanks for all the observations and suggestions. They helped.
