I am selling a Givi touring screen for the GT on eBay. Someone has asked if the screen will fit his ST. I think the answer is no but as I am not familiar with the ST, can someone confirm, or not, before I reply to the question?

    Thanks.

    Hi Yoav,

I can not answer your question but I can ask you another? Have you ever had any issues with your touring screen in a cross wind?? It was something that was suggested to me yesterday when talking about changing by standard screen on the FT.

    Regards

    Hi Yoav,
The GT screen will not fit the ST. In addition to the 3 main fixing screws at bottom of screen, the GT has two extra "hidden" screws higher up and the ST has no provision for those.

Hi Yoav, I'm in agreement with Chris. GT screen won't fit the ST. Ted, I fitted the GT touring screen for all of an hour and promptly returned to the standard screen. The touring screen made a horrible racket above 50 mph and the buffeting really knocked my head around. As with all screens though, it may work for someone of different stature. I'm 5'8" with the standard seat and bars.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts. I must say I never suffered any issues with it in cross winds. It was just too tall for me in that I couldn't look over the screen, only through it and I didn't like it. I could have cut it down but in the end, I bought an adjustable Madstad screen so the Givi is surplus to requirements.
