I have noticed that my bike does not have the FPC which is used on previous models above the fuel pump assembly

Is the Fuel Pump controlled directly from the ECU? or is there a relay somewhere else on the 2017+ models?

Not aware of it being moved...
I have older bike but with (what I think was 2017) sender/pump assby.

On the later models the FPC is black powder coated instead of raw aluminum ... but that's all I've got...
Blue 2009 F650GS - H-B crash bars, TT luggage rack, Pelican top case, BMW Vario Panniers & bash plate, 20mm handlebar risers, LED voltmeter, Sargent seat, MudSling, a few other trinkets ... I may be just about at the end of the farkle train

lukin, find your bike on this site and see if you find a FPC. Likely in the fuel supply section.

AKBeemer: I looked at another site and already confirmed that there is no FPC above fuel tank. I also look at the electrical parts and could not find any pump relay what so ever, that is why I am assuming that the pump is controlled directly from the ECU

A wiring diagram will be great. There is very little official information from BMW for the end users

Here is a picture. You can see that 4 wire are connected to the pump assembly. 2 for pump and 2 for fuel level
