BMW has been using spoked wheels designed for tubeless tires for many years. My 1993 R100GSPD had them and our 2017 R1200GS and GSA have them as well. Our 2014 F800GS’s spoked wheels require tubes. I don’t know if BMW has started using tubeless spoked wheels on the F bikes, but they certainly have the ability to do so. You can probably tell if the rims are designed for tubeless tires with a simple inspection of the rim. If the spokes connect to the rim so that the end of the spoke is visible along the outer edge of the rim, then they are designed for tubeless tires. If the spoke terminates in the interior of the rim, then they are for tube type tires.
Thanks. Wonder if these are better than only tubeless
