I removed the Rox bar risers from the 2009 F650GS (with ABS) that I bought last year. With the risers gone, the brake line was too long and seriously rubbed and caught on the instrument cluster when turning left. I tried to get the BMW part, but, according to the local dealer, there aren't any in the US. They would need to get it from Germany which could take several weeks.
I ordered a stock length cable from Spiegler Performance parts. They made it the day I ordered it and I got it 2 days later. However, I am concerned about whether it fits the bike correctly or not. The new line also hits the instrument cluster turning left, but not nearly as bad. As you turn left is slides across it. Turning right is more of a concern. At hard lock right, the line seems to have a pretty sharp bend on the bottom fitting and a fairly sharp bend at the top.
Are there any F650gs owners out there with the stock brake line and no bar risers? Can you please compare how your brake line fits to the pictures I am attaching and the video link? I am considering ordering the stock line, which will take weeks to get. I may be able to get by with this line in the mean time, but I REALLY don't want to take a chance with a front brake line failure. However, riding season is rapidly coming to an end here and I want to ride.

P.S. I appologize for the redundant post. I asked the same question at the end of my "What tools to remove bar risers from F650GS" thread, but I was afraid the question got lost at the end of a long thread and I really need some feedback on this.
