Newbie here, so hopefully I’m not posting in the wrong place. I just purchased a 2017 F800GS and I have the factory brackets to mount up a vario pannier case. I have searched high and low to find an accessory plate that will fasten to the existing bracket as I would like to put a RotoPax on the opposite side of the exhaust. Has anyone done this, or know of a company that makes a plate such as this?
    Thanks!

If you don't use a top case maybe this could work to mount a RotoPax:

Thanks guenner. I gave that some serious thought, however I decided to mount a waterproof duffel bag on to upper rack for camping trips. Really the only place I can see the rotopax going is on the opposite side of the exhaust. I assume I’ll have to fabricate a mount unless someone chimes in.

I bought a set of quickly-detachable SW Moto side case racks for my F650GS and love them. It only takes seconds to install and remove them and most soft luggage will attach easily to the racks, which will keep the luggage away from the muffler. In the first photo you can see what the SW Moto attachments look like when the brackets are removed. They use a quarter-turn screw to attach to three holes in the permanent bracket holders on the side of the bike, one of which is easily visible in the picture near the rear of the seat. Photo 3 shows the rear of the brackets on which I used to mount a set of plastic SHAD luggage, while photo 5 shows the top of the brackets and how they fasten to the top holes on the permanent equipment that attaches to the frame.

Thanks Richard230. I’ll look in to theses cases and see if I can modify them to accept a RotoPax.
    Cheers!
