Mine, a Fuel exhaust. Totally transformed the bikes performance low down. It made slow speed riding so much better by pulling at 500rpm lower. Before at 30 mph if i was in second it would always feel like it was bogging down and really wanted to be in first. So what's yours.

It's a tie between the AF-XiED fuel manager & the Cobrra NEMO chain oiler.

Mine would have to be two mods. I'm not sure I can narrow it down more than that.

The Madstad windshield for me works so well that when I tried an RT on an extended demo ride, I didn't find the vaunted RT's windshield to do anything more for me. It did move up and down by pressing a button. But I've never felt the need or desire to adjust my Madstad, so not having a button was no loss. But having a windshield that puts smooth flowing air on me with no turbulence...and doesn't act like a sail in high winds...it's just sweet.

The other is a mod that I use only part of the time. It's my Airhawk seat cushion. I can ride all day long...ten or twelve hours at a time, without pain. I love it.

I have done several mods, but the absolute best was adding my Terry Adcox seat. It really doesn't matter what you do to your bike, if it is not a comfortable ride, it's not worth owning.

Bar risers, customized seat (more padded) and aftermarket exhaust slip on. After those mods I decided to keep this bike for a long time.

Wunderlich bar risers only installed a month or so ago, and it hugely reduced my wrist pain. Couldnt believe that a 2.5 cm riser would make such a difference.

    Four mods for F700GS:

    1. Puig engine guards. Open box order from Amazon Warehouse $72.54. Aside from the price, I got this to help lifting the bike if it should ever tip. So far, no tips.
    2. Radiator grill guard. Amazon $40.
    3. eBay "carbon fiber" muffler for $90, including shipping. Fits well, looks good. After a year's riding, it's holding up well. ~10 pounds of high weight removed.
    4. Pull rubber pads from foot pegs. This lowered my feet just enough for more comfort, and better position on the shift lever. Free.

My fav mods are the Baha Designs XL80's and Laser S1's... the best lighting setup I have found so far long-distance outback riding in Australia... I made a video of my mods a few months ago, youtu.be/MsitcmFp1pw if anyone is interested (and no, I have no affiliates to any of the mods I have made, nor are any of my clips monetized YT - it's all my own money and time for the hobby I love
