Hello everyone!!

I am not really a F800 ST owner yet but looking at one for a great price and will make the purchase when the weather breaks here in the burgh. I have already spoken to a few of you and got some great insight. I am currently a cruiser guy now but always had my options open for one of this style of bike. I am really looking forward to see how the ride is on the highways have heard many good things and find them hard to believe. Although as I recall it seems that it is always one of these sport/touring bikes that seem to pass me in the highways.

I am looking to gather all the info that I can before purchase so I will be ready to ride soon. Any and all information is appreciated.

Welcome from the coast of Kansas. My ST has been one of my favorite bikes and has performed well from 8+ years now. There has never been a single day when I regretted the purchase. Hope you find one that fits you well and serves you well, too.

Thanks everyone for the positive words, I am going to look at it as a buyer this Wednesday, it has sat in my friends garage for a while and I have been checking it out as a bike rider but since I heard it was up for sale and the price is too good to pass up. The owner is not ready to drain the stabilizer out and fire it up yet so looking will have to do for a few weeks.

I am sure coming from a cruiser background this will be a big change but that is part of riding a bike you experience anything that you can.
