I saw a 2013 f800gs in the Kalamata Metallic and fell in love with it, but I'm having trouble finding the paint code for it.
I would like to paint my F8R this color for what its worth.
Thanks

Randy, I have looked for this color in the Standox website, where I could find almost all the formulations, looks like they still haven't added the 2013 colors.
That's the color I've ordered as well. If this bike is like other BMW bikes, then each body panel will be labelled underneath with the correct color code. I won't have my bike until spring (I've ordered a factory-lowered suspension model and it has to be built) but if you don't have the info by spring, give me a shout and I'll figure it out. This is something every owner should know... (I dropped my 2011 Exclusive Edition K1300GT only 9 days into owning it, and my dealer wanted $4500 to fix it, saying it was a new bike and it needed new parts. I found the color codes, pulled the tupperware over the winter and brought it to a car body shop and they smoothed out the scratches and painted them. Perfect job, with a cost of only $650 plus my time for removing and reinstalling the panels.) Ya gotta know your paint codes!

Thanks guys, I talked to the dealer and he gave me what he thought was the paint code but I tried looking it up earlier and didnt come up with any thing so I dont think it was right. It was also only3 characters long 0.o. I dont remember ber it off the top of my head but Ill find where Ive got it written down when I get home from work.

Three characters long for a paint code isn't unusual. For my K1300GT, I've got a generic code of 934, a BMW code of N934 and a commercial code of WN75. Most experienced paint shops have cross reference charts to help them get the right color in different brands.
So what you have may (or may not) be right.![]()

I picked up a can of Testors 1847M Bronze "bronze one" at the hobby shop. In the sunshine, the cap is a near identical match to my bike. I haven't sprayed it yet.

I painted my XJ jeep this color, and it has been a nightmare, it i not the same to have it on a jeep, then a 800 scratches are not to be polished out!
And also I can not find the formula any more, does anyone have it?
Color code M41 is what you need.
Generally you may find the colorcode at realoem.com , search for your model and then "Body Equipment/Painted parts". There you will find the colorcode.

If you get in touch with a Glasurit -shop, they will find the color coded M41 in their system. Sometimes the code is a single color, some times the code is a common code for a combination of several colors (frame color, pinstripe color and painted parts color).
Whatever your need is, the code givene in realoem will give you the needed info in the Glasurit database.
I love the color too and was a big selling point for my 2015 800GSA. I've since had some other body panels hydro-graphix'd but would love to paint a few pieces Kalamata metallic. I'd paint my truck this color if I could find it in bulk...
